SHORT-RUNS
Expert Cores specializes in making affordable, specialty short-run sand cores in quantities of 10 – 100 units. This is perfect for replacement parts, and our talented staff of core makers provides specialized attention for labor-intensive sample and prototype cores. Expert Cores uses only virgin sand for all cores.
EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY

Process sheets follow every order to guarantee sand cores match customer specifications. Expert Cores has an internal sand lab that tests tensile strength and regularly checks for loss of ignition to ensure sand mixer calibration. Expert Cores uses only virgin sand for all cores.
PRODUCTS
Our product mix includes shell cores, Air Set cores, miscellaneous cores, floor area cores and sand molds. Sand cores can weigh anywhere from 1 to 1,500 pounds. Our largest blown core is approximately 600 pounds.
SPECIALTY SANDS
Expert Cores uses QR code computer-controlled sand mixers for mix consistency and offers a variety of specialty sands including silica, zircon, ceramic, and chromite sand in 100% and 50/50 mixtures. Expert Cores uses only virgin sand for all cores.
UNIQUE PROCESS
Expert Cores’ proprietary process blows Air Set sand into clients’ core boxes. Shell core tooling can be converted into blown Air Set cores without a second set of tooling. Setup times are minimal, so there is never a setup fee at Expert Cores.
